Keep it Happy!

Okay, I know how eager everyone has been seeing some "before" and "after" pics; I'm sure you've been checking the blog every hour on the hour hoping to see the first post. Your wait is finally over!

Alright, not quite yet. 

Before I post anything I would like to mention that this blog is a judge-free zone. If you don't judge my home, I won't judge yours. I am willing to share my "before" pics, completely uncensored and in all their messy and disorganized glory. Why? Because I know I'm not the only one out there who shoves everything into the closet or laundry room before company comes. And I know I'm not the only one who has a clean kitchen when guests come over, but dishes scattered all over the counters when they don't. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has piles of bills and papers that "I really need to take care of" hidden in a corner of a back room. And can you honestly tell me you don't have random stuff stashed in your closets that you keep around just in case you might need it someday?

So I'm showing you these parts of my home that I normally hide. Because this is me fixing it. You will be with me from beginning to end, as I organize, clean, and GET RID OF STUFF. I've finally figured out that the secret to a beautiful magazine home is that there just isn't a lot of stuff. There are things you use. And things you get rid of. That's all there is to it.
